Olympic Lifting Clinic
Shane leads our weekly olympic weightlifting class. He will teach the sport of olympic weightlifting as more than a way to look good or get strong (it will do both). The focus will be more of a paradox of life in teaching valuable components of working hard, perfecting/refining technique, being honest about yourself, as well as holding yourself and others to a higher standard of achievement. A typical workout at a Thursday clinic will take you through one particular aspect of the sport such as the snatch, clean/jerk, or assistance lifts such as front squats, pulling movements, RDL’s, etc. The olympic weightlifting coaching staff can also improve the intermediate-advanced lifter to improve their programming, technique, or outlook on the sport. When you set foot in our clinic, you will experience a level of coaching and viewing the Olympic Lifts you simply cannot find in any other Crossfit Gym.
We offer a yoga class every 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:00am. Joy provides a relaxing class to help you recharge and loosen up the muscles. This is a great way to increase mobility and range of motion, improve flexibility and recovery time.
